Standard Warranty

With every purchase, you’ll receive our standard 3-month warranty, ensuring your bike is
protected against unforeseen issues. All our vehicles are meticulously inspected and include
at least 6 months of MOT.

Issues covered under the warranty:

  • Engine including the cylinder head, block, bores, pistons, ring valves, camshafts and guides.
  • Electrics including the starter motor, solenoid, alternator, speedometer, regulator, rectifier.
  • Fuel system including the carburettor assemblies, fuel pump and tank senders.
  • Cooling system including the water pump, radiator fan, thermostat and housing.
  • Clutch including the centre plate, pressure plate and release bearings.
  • Brakes including the master cylinder, restrictor valves, seals, ABS system (not including friction materials).
  • Gearbox and transmission all major internal mechanical parts.
  • Exhaust breakdown of structural members, excluding that caused by impact or corrosion.
  • Drive system drive shafts, universal joints, bearings.
  • Rear suspension loss of fluids or mechanical failure of the suspension joint (up to £200 per claim inc VAT).
  • Casings covered only if they have been damaged by the mechanical failure of one of the parts covered.
  • Camshaft timing belt/chains.
  • Steering system.
  • Wheel hubs and bearings.
  • Flywheel.
  • Ignition system.

Please note, roadside recovery is not included with our standard warranty. You will be
required to return your Motorcycle to us, or to another VAT registered garage for any repair
works.

The warranty is void after 3 months or 1500 miles, whichever comes first, and in the
unfortunate event of a drop, damage or accident by the rider/owner.

Your WSG motorcycle warranty covers you for a huge range of parts and the labour times involved to repair or replace them.

Platinum and Gold both cover around 3,000 mechanical, electrical and electronic components including many that are normally excluded by other warranty companies. Silver covers a range of listed items and is designed with the older or higher mileage vehicle in mind.

All of our motorcycle warranties also include basic UK breakdown cover, a £75 contribution towards recovery once you’ve used your callout, European cover and overnight accommodation / rail fare.

Naturally there are some parts and faults that we just can’t cover such as bodywork, trim, general maintenance and service items.

Our Platinum and Gold plans are so advanced that it’s almost impossible to list every covered item, therefore you’ll only find the exclusions. Anything not listed under exclusions is covered.

Silver only lists the covered items so anything not shown is specifically excluded.

You can make unlimited claims with each one up to your chosen claim limit, up to the value of your motorcycle at the time of claim. All claims include the cost of parts, labour and VAT.

Before you have any work carried out, you must contact our claims team on 0800 060 8610 or email us. We’ll need to provide an authorisation code to the garage for the repairs to be done.

Note: We won’t be able to pay for any repairs that are carried out without our authorisation.

Yes it does!

All of our motorcycle warranties include basic UK breakdown cover as standard, for the same length as your warranty. This gives you one callout during the period of cover up to a total value of £500, which includes:

  • 1 hour’s labour charge where the motorcycle is rendered completely immobile.
  • Roadside assistance and repairs where possible and practical (excludes home assistance and breakdowns within 1 mile of your home address).
  • Recovery up to 20 miles from the scene of the breakdown to an address of your choice.
  • Cover for any rider providing they have permission and are legally able to ride.
  • Wheel changes – roadside assistance only. This cover applies providing the motorcycle:
    • has a locking wheel nut key;
    • has a serviceable and accessible spare tyre and wheel and the wheel nuts can be removed manually at the roadside. No assistance can be provided if these items are not available.

Once you’ve used your callout, your breakdown cover will cease but you can take out our premium recovery package which gives you full UK cover.

On top of the basic breakdown cover, we’ll also pay up to £75 to recover your vehicle on valid claims.

A used motorcycle warranty is a written guarantee covering a list of mechanical, electrical and electronic parts against sudden failure. It’s designed to pay for some or all of the costs involved with repairing or replacing those parts within a certain time frame.
