How long does the whole process take?
Once you submit the online trade form, our underwriting team will process your details and provide a trade valuation. If the figure is accepted, we will coordinate with your sales team to arrange prompt collection and immediate electronic fund transfer, ensuring the bike is moved off your pitch quickly.
Do we need to bring the bike to you?
No. We make trade disposals hassle-free by arranging collection directly from your dealership site. Our logistics team will handle the transport, allowing your team to focus on core vehicle sales.
What type of bikes do you buy?
We underwrite a wide range of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds across various makes, models, and values. Whether it’s a premium adventure bike or a smaller commuter machine a customer wants to part-exchange against a car or van, submit the details and we will look to provide a competitive trade offer. Please note, our only restrictions are that we do not buy bikes over 15 years old or with more than 30,000 miles on the clock.
Can you settle outstanding finance?
Yes. If the motorcycle has existing finance, we can clear the remaining balance directly with the finance company as part of the transaction. Simply provide us with an up-to-date settlement letter, and we will handle the payout and transfer any remaining equity to your dealership account.
When will we get paid?
Payment is made via immediate electronic bank transfer upon collection or drop-off. We ensure funds are cleared in your dealership’s bank account before the vehicle leaves your site, maintaining a smooth cash flow for your business.
Will you try to negotiate or chip away at the price upon arrival?
No. We operate on professional trade-to-trade transparency. As long as the bike’s condition, history, and specifications accurately match the details and images submitted by your sales team, the underwritten price we gave you is the price we pay. We only revalue a vehicle if significant, undisclosed damage or mechanical faults are discovered upon physical inspection.
What documents and items do we need to provide?
To complete the trade transaction, please ensure your team has the following ready:
- The V5C logbook (registered to the customer or with the trade slip ready).
- Service history records and handbooks.
- All available sets of keys.
- A valid finance settlement letter (if applicable).
- If it’s the first time we are doing business with you, we will need an ID on file. This can be either a valid Driving Licence or Passport.
